Summary and Objective

Responsible for state licensing regulatory compliance in all states in which we do business and across all entities and sub-entities.

Essential Functions

  • Administer the corporate and individual insurance license renewals in all states
    • Corporate Insurance Licenses
    • Individual Insurance Licenses
    • Manage producer contract processes
      • Applications, Contracts, and Addendums
      • Activate or terminate producers
  • Licensing regulatory compliance for multiple business entities in multiple states
  • Research and maintain detailed knowledge of insurance license regulatory requirements of each state
  • Create and maintain high level compliance reporting
  • Maintain licensure databases
  • Administer Business Licensure for all sub-entities
  • Interactions with legal staff and division leaders
  • Additional projects as assigned


  • Attention to detail
  • Very strong organizational skills are required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with state departments of insurance and supervisory entities
  • Ability to track multiple state schedules and plan ahead 
  • Contract reading and interpretation

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Ability to manage a small team of people
  • Vendor management skills (cost analysis, implementation, and monitoring)
  • Occasional interactions with retail agents

Physical demands

  • Sitting, repetitive motion (Sit-to-Stand option)

Expected hours of work

  • Monday through Friday
  • The hours are standard business hours with some flexibility
  • Eligible for remote working

Travel: None

Required education or experience

  • Associates Degree or equivalent insurance experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite

Preferred education and experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • Knowledge of insurance industry and/or related compliance
